Our Company’s corporate governance rating that was declared as 8.16 on April 17, 2009, has been declared as 8.27 in the new rating period following the Corporate Governance study carried out by SAHA Corporate Governance and Credit Rating Services, Inc.
Y&Y REIT is the first and the only company with a corporate governance rating among the 14 REITs in Istanbul Stock Exchange. Corporate Governance Index which includes the companies that comply with “Corporate Governance Principles” has started to be calculated by ISE on 31 August, 2007. Y&Y REIT is among the 24 companies that have been included into this index.
The rating methodology is based on Capital Market Board’s (CMB) “Corporate Governance Principles”. Therefore, the rating of 8.27 points to the importance our Company gives to corporate governance principles as a vital instrument and demonstrates its consistency in executing these principles as sustainable and dynamic regulations. In this direction, our Company's corporate governance rating has been confirmed by taking into consideration the performance of it during the previous one-year period since the attainment of the last rating.
